LONDON: Afghan Council of Great Britain (ACGB) chairman Dr Mohammad Hotak will be chairing key panels in World Humanitarian Forum 2019 in London to ‘Shape the Future for a Better Tomorrow’.
The forum, which will be held over two days on 17th and 18th April 2019 in Excel, London, will bring together prominent leaders from the public and private sectors, as well as international thought-leaders and pioneers including former British prime minister Tony Blair.
Over 4000 visitors are expected to attend the two-day event.
Dr Hotak who is a strong advocate for youth empowerment, tech for good and mobilising private sector for public good will chair three extremely important panels with distinguished leaders from the world’s most prominent organisations.
He will chair the key panel on Private Sector Financing. Distinguished speakers in the panel include:
1. Wiebke Jardet from European Investment Bank
2. Barry Kolodkin from European Bank of Reconstruction and Development
3. Michel Botzung from International Finance Corporation
4. Laura Frigenti from IDAS Institute
He will also speak at Transforming Humanitarian Action with Next Generation Technology alongside senior leaders from Microsoft and Oxfam International to explore how modern technology can Increase the Efficiency and Productivity of Organisations.
Lastly, Dr Hotak will chair the ‘Youth: The future’ panel. This will include Serene Dardari, the Founder of Shams Network, Vivian Onano, Women & Girls Advocate, Leading Light Initiative and Basima Abdulrahman, Founder & CEO KESK and WEF Youth Leader.
